Well, hello! Welcome to my blog. You know what's funny? I don't even know what a blog is supposed to be. I think that's ok, because I didn't know how to write a book, or publish a book or even create a website before any of this started, but here I am. Jumping in with both feet is just my style and it seems to be working so far.
I do know what I like. I like watching sports (football mostly), laughing with my friends and chilling with my family. Oh! Reading! I love to read! So, for now, that's what this blog is going to be about. The stuff I love. Random ramblings about what's got me going at the moment.
Right now, I am in the midst of writing book two. Chained Hearts is the sequel to Fenced Hearts. Chained Hearts is following Claire, Carter, Ron, Lizzie and Blaine. There are also some new characters I think you will love. Wren and Carter will also come back to visit. Not to give too much away, Ron is going to make this book a little more suspenseful.
I am working hard to finish this book in a timely maner, but life sometimes gets in the way. For example, I have a real life job that helps pay the bills. I am a school nurse, which I love. I am lucky to have the school vacations off, which enables me to spend time with my children and allows me large amounts of time to write. In an unusual turn of events, I ended up working during Spring Break which put my writing behind. No worries! I am sure I will catch up, getting back on schedule before summer vacation begins.
In other news, I am currently fighting my battle against the left over Easter candy. I am sad to say, the candy is winning. I've hidden it from myself, but I've always been good at hide and seek, so I keep finding it. The Snickers really don't have a chance once I get to them.
